Many governance programs stall because they open with a policy binder and a standing committee. This session lays out an operating model sized for a mid-sized company: who owns what (data council, domain owners, stewards), how to choose critical data elements and set quality thresholds, and where an AI usage policy belongs. We also look at where a catalog and Purview earn their keep. Following the value-based delivery approach in the Handbook, we plan a first 90 days that produces a visible win. Attendees take away a sample RACI and a policy outline.
