If you've been developing using C# and .Net for any length of time, chances are you have some legacy aging code bases that you want to upgrade to support more modern serverless, containerization, Linux workloads, and performance optimization that come from the latest .Net versions. In this fast forward session, we'll explore some tools like the Upgrade Assistant and YARP to be able to evaluate your legacy code and upgrade it in whole or in parts over time as appropriate. We'll also consider some strategies for components at aren't as easily upgradeable.

You will learn:

• Understand the advantages and limitations to using the Upgrade Assistant tool to upgrade .Net framework applications.
• Discover some common strategies for handling components that can't be upgraded through the tools.
• How agentic AI tools can help speed up the modernization effort.
