Unlock the full potential of Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and Prompt Flow in this immersive 2-day workshop. Through engaging discussions, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive labs, you'll gain the skills and knowledge to master these cutting-edge technologies.

Over the course of the seminar, we will discuss, demonstrate and go through labs with all attendees for understanding and mastering the Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and Prompt Flow development.

Topics that will be covered during the seminar:

  1. Creating an Azure AI Foundry Resource: Get started with Azure AI Foundry in the Azure Portal.
  2. Building an Azure AI Foundry Hub: Understand its purpose and how to create it.
  3. Developing an Azure AI Foundry Project: Learn the essentials and its significance.
  4. Resource Management: Explore accompanying resources like Azure Key Vault and Azure Storage.
  5. Prompt Flow Basics: Introduction to a simple Prompt Flow Completion and its components.
  6. Azure AI Search Integration: Add and vectorize documents in the portal.
  7. Management Portal Insights: Connect external resources to your project.
  8. Advanced Prompt Flows: Create a Chat completion Prompt Flow using vectorized documents.
  9. File Structure and Coding: Use Visual Studio Code to navigate Prompt Flow files.
  10. Prompt Flow Evaluation: Test against multiple LLMs and prompts.
  11. Deployment Strategies: Deploy Prompt Flows to Serverless and Managed compute.
  12. Monitoring and Insights: Use Application Insights to monitor deployments.
  13. Application Integration: Consume Prompt Flows in Python and JavaScript applications.
  14. Vector Stores: Utilize Azure Cosmos DB and Azure PostgreSQL in Prompt Flow.
  15. AI Search Techniques: Implement summarizations and translations.
  16. Document Intelligence: Extract content from images during document vectorization.
  17. GenAIOps with GitHub: Manage CI/CD pipelines for team development and deployment.

Hands-on labs will be used throughout the seminar so you can experiment, try new things and ask questions in a supportive environment.

At the end of the seminar, you will have a good understanding of Azure AI Foundry and Prompt Flow visually and in code and can start using these technologies more effectively in your own projects.

Attendee Workstation Requirements:

  • You must provide your own computer (Windows or Mac) for this hands-on lab workshop with a camera, wired Internet connection, speakers, and a microphone.
  • Laptop running Visual Studio Code, node.js (latest), Python 3.11 and newer
  • You need to be admin on the laptop
  • You need to be owner or Global Admin on your Azure Subscription for all labs to work.
