A host of sources, both expected and potentially unexpected, threaten computer networks. A lot of these start with "war–driving." Obviously, this begs a couple of questions. What is War–Driving? Where can it lead? How can I protect my infrastructure? This session will briefly introduce you to war–driving, but before you head out in your pimped war–driving rig, it is important to understand what it is and, more importantly, what it is not. You'll also learn about some important terminology associated with war–driving.

You will learn:

  • What War–Driving is and isn't
  • Why you should be concerned
  • The tools and technology being used
  • How war–driving can make a difference in your security posture
