2-Day Hands-On Training Seminar
Copilot Studio, Microsoft Agent Framework and Foundry: Building Multi-Agent AI Systems Hands-On
June 8-9, 2026
9:00AM – 5:00PM Central
Level: Intermediate
Agents are rapidly becoming the new applications in an AI-driven world; powering personal productivity, streamlining business processes, and enabling intelligent cross-organizational collaboration. As agent ecosystems evolve, they are unlocking new levels of innovation, automation, and measurable business impact.
This immersive 2-day hands-on lab, led by Microsoft AI and Business Applications MVP and Microsoft Certified Trainer Prashant G. Bhoyar, will guide you through the process of designing, building, and deploying next-generation multi-agent AI systems using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, and the Microsoft Agent Framework.
Copilot Studio empowers creators with a low-code, graphical environment to build intelligent copilots that automate workflows, extend Microsoft 365 Copilot with enterprise data, and integrate seamlessly with external systems through Power Automate, plugins, and Microsoft Foundry.
Microsoft Foundry provides a unified Azure-based platform-as-a-service (PaaS) for enterprise AI operations, model deployment, and application development—combining infrastructure, governance, monitoring, and model management under a single, enterprise-ready framework.
The Microsoft Agent Framework, an open-source SDK and runtime, enables developers to easily orchestrate and manage multi-agent systems that collaborate to solve complex problems and automate dynamic business workflows.
What You’ll Learn
Throughout this lab, participants will gain both conceptual understanding and practical skills, including:
- Fundamentals of multimodal GenAI applications and AI agents
- Building and orchestrating autonomous and multi-agent AI systems
- Using Azure OpenAI Services and integrating models from DeepSeek, Llama, Hugging Face, and other open-source providers via Foundry
- Deep dive into Microsoft Foundry and its enterprise-grade capabilities
- Building and testing real-world multi-agent use cases and architectures
- Developing copilots in Copilot Studio to handle complex, multi-step conversations across Teams, web, and other channels
- Leveraging Foundry IQ and Azure AI Search for intelligent, context-aware retrieval
- Utilizing Foundry Agent Service for automated, scalable business processes
- Implementing evaluation, tracing, and testing frameworks for AI agents
- Applying Responsible AI principles and evaluating ROI for AI-driven solutions
- Building robust, scalable multimodal applications and AI agents focused on real industry requirements and best practices
At the end of the workshop, attendees will have a working knowledge of how to build next-gen applications and custom Copilots with Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services.
Access to Azure and Azure OpenAI services will be provided to follow the labs and create enterprise-grade intelligent applications. The labs will be a mixture of Python and C#.
Hands-On Experience
Participants will build, test, and deploy their own enterprise-grade multimodal AI agents using Microsoft Foundry, Agent Framework, and Copilot Studio.
