This session uses field-tested techniques to demonstrate how you can use familiar tools to dig into Analysis Services processing and query handling to identify bottlenecks, isolate issues while understanding how and why they occur and what needs to be done to resolve or fix them.
You will learn:
- Understand high-level MDX and Cube Processing process
- How to use tools such as SQL Server Profiler, PerfMon and DB Tuning Advisor to identify SSAS performance issues
- Techniques for isolating and resolving common cube issues
