If you're thinking about rolling out Office 365 or if you've already rolled it out and want to pick up some tips for managing it, you won't want to mist this session. When most people hear Office 365, they tend to think SharePoint, Exchange, Skype for Business or other services that are included as a part of Office 365, not the service as a whole. This session will provide an overview of setting up and managing Office 365—the service that contains all these products. This will include items such as what's included with Office 365, administering your Office 365 environment and users, and licensing. You'll look at managing the various administrative roles, password management and rights management in Office 365. The session will also cover domain/DNS configuration as well as how to monitor your Office 365 environment and services. There will be several demos using both the GUI as well as PowerShell to perform these various activities. At the end of this session, you should feel confident in deploying and managing your Office 365 environment.

You will learn:

  • What's included with Office 365, licensing and how to get started
  • About security and your Office 365 environment
  • How to monitor and test your Office 365 tenant
